Great food tour of local spots around Cartagena

Our guide Jose is a local, he was very patient and informative with all of our questions. He gave us a well rounded tour with some of the best street food egg arepas , soda , fruit , ceviche and patacones , salchichas and also gave us the history and preparation info . Everything was close and in easing distance . He also recommended some spots in getsamane.

Amazing food tour with excellent guide !

Our food tour with Andreas Felipe was so much fun ! He took us to many places and we got to try lots of different types of traditional food and drinks. They were all delicious! And Andreas was really informative about the food and local culture. Would highly recommend. One of the best tours we have done in in central and south America.

Hicimos el tour con yessica y fue lo mejor, no hubieron más inscripciones para ese dia por lo que fue un tour personalizado. Nos encanto el recorrido por la ciudad por zonas y puestos donde no se enconttaban turistas, sino que gente local disfrutando de comoda exquisita y con mucha historia. La disposicion de yessica fue extraordinaria, muy amable siempre y muy paciente scorde a nuestros tiempos. Nos vamos con el corazón y estomago llenitos. Ademas es muy simpática!! La recomendamos 1000%

Amazing Food Tour with Nelson – A Must in Cartagena

I had already been to Cartagena and done a similar food tour before, but this time I wanted my father—who was visiting for the first time—to experience it. Nelson was fantastic from the very start. He even messaged me earlier in the day to ask whether we preferred the tour in English or Spanish. His English is excellent, so no worries there. What really stood out is that he didn’t just introduce us to the food; he also gave us a great introduction to the history of Cartagena. Even though I had already done a tour in the past, I still learned new things. He’s clearly knowledgeable and passionate, and it shows. Yes, we ate (a lot and very well!), but we also got to talk with locals, watch how the dishes were prepared, and get a real feel for daily life here. From shrimp cocktails to exotic fruit juices, sandwiches, sausages, and more—you definitely won’t leave hungry. Generous food, authentic vibes, and an outstanding guide. Thank you so much, Nelson!
