- Mausoleo de Gur Emir: mausoleo medieval cuya decoración interior está dorada y fue construido para el gran Tamerlán y sus descendientes masculinos.

- Plaza Registan: tarjeta de visita no solo de la ciudad o Uzbekistán sino también de todo Oriente Medio. El complejo que es "la guinda del pastel" de su visita a Uzbekistán.

- Mezquita Bibi Khanym: la mezquita más grande de Asia Central, incluido Irán. Fue construido por la amada esposa de Tamerlane en honor a la victoria sobre la India.

- Siyab Bazaar: bazar oriental con especias, frutas frescas y secas y, por supuesto, el famoso pan de Samarcanda.

- Mezquita Hazrat Khizr: la primera mezquita de Samarcanda donde fue enterrado el primer presidente de la República.

Engaging tour of Samarkand

Our guide, Islom, had a wealth of knowledge on the rich history of Samarkand and the history of the empires along the Silk Road. We learnt a lot while walking through ancient sites that he showed a lot of respect for. He went above and beyond, following us to a nearby museum to continue the stories and lessons. He is truly a gem for history buffs and anyone looking to learn more about this wonderful city. He answered all our questions patiently as well. We highly recommend Islom, and thank him for a truly eye-opening tour!

Rich and insightful Samarkand tour

Adam has been an excellent guide through Samarkand, giving us both historical and artistical insights abouth the story of the city and its great inhabitants, such as Amir Temur. He has been really good in adapting our time needs to the tour.

Good Tour

Schoch was a good guide full of knowledge and i enjoyed the tour a lot. Organization was a bit unusual "the guide will find you at the meeting point" but after a while it worked. However i would suggest to exchange contact details beforehand.
