Join us for a leisurely stroll through the heart of the historic City as we explore the highlights of Francisco I. Madero and Tacuba streets are fondly referred to as Zócalo by locals. Immerse yourself in the rich cultural heritage of this metropolis

Description

Welcome to Mexico City!

We will talk about current Mexican culture and we'll see from the outside, among other buildings:

* Palace of Fine Arts
* The first two skyscrapers in Mexico City, (one of them, the Latinoamericana Tower)
* Palace of the Count of Valle de Orizaba
* Balvanera Chapel
* Palace of the Marquess of Jaral de Berrio - and we'll talk about who looked out from its central balcony in 1822.
* Palace of "The richest man in the world".
* Temple of San Felipe Neri.
* Constitution Square ("Zócalo") - Heart of the City and whole of Mexico.
* Ruins of the Templo Mayor (Huey Teocalli), the spiritual heart of ancient Mexihco-Tenochtitlan - We will talk about their religious beliefs and discoveries.

We will enter the Metropolitan Cathedral (in the case of a religious service, we'll only be able to take a general view from the western nave, and if we are lucky, we'll listen to one of the baroque organs!)

We'll walk down the street where James Bond appears in the movie "Spectre" and find out where the producers got the idea for a scene between Bond and Ernst Stavro Blofeld.

Make your reservation, and let me share with you some of my passion for the ancient city of palaces!
